
In Lviv, efforts continue to identify individuals involved in the incident in the Sykhiv district, where a service vehicle of the territorial recruitment center was damaged and overturned following a conflict involving TCC representatives. According to members of the city’s veteran community, two young men who took part in damaging the vehicle were found and admitted their guilt.
The authors of the statement noted that they are not publishing certain parts of the conversation with the participants in order to avoid violating social media rules. At the same time, they emphasized that law enforcement agencies must provide a legal assessment of the actions of these individuals.
As reported by Golos Sokalshchyny, the incident occurred on the evening of July 8 in Lviv’s Sykhiv district. During the incident, a service vehicle of the territorial recruitment center was blocked, damaged and overturned. Afterward, statements were issued by the mayor of Lviv, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Lviv Regional TCC and SP.
According to the Lviv Regional TCC and SP, during notification measures carried out together with police officers, a citizen was stopped for verification of military registration documents. It was later established that the man, born in 1996, had been wanted since June 12, 2026, for violating military registration rules. He was taken to the TCC and sent to undergo a military medical commission.
Another notification group remained at the scene and, according to the TCC, was surrounded by unidentified individuals. The service vehicle used by the military personnel was significantly damaged and later overturned. Police officers worked at the scene and maintained public order.
The statement also says that some minors from Sykhiv who were present during the incident agreed to attend a conversation with representatives of Lviv’s veteran community. Separately, the authors said they intend to identify the people who, according to them, removed parts of a military uniform from a serviceman.

Authorities urged residents not to fall for provocations, to follow the law and not to obstruct the work of military personnel and police officers. Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, stated that everyone who committed offenses or obstructed the work of the military must be identified and held accountable. At the same time, the regional TCC will conduct an internal review of whether its employees acted lawfully during the notification measures.
