
On Sokilnytska Street in Lviv, a fire broke out in a single-storey brick utility building. The blaze threatened to spread to a nearby residential house. The incident occurred on 22 April at 12:22, when the Rescue Service received a report of the fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the roof and household items over an area of 25 square metres were ablaze. The situation was complicated by heavy smoke. However, by 12:42 the fire was localised, and by 12:51 it was completely extinguished.
Eight firefighters and two units of specialised equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured. Experts are currently determining the cause of the fire.
