In Lviv, during a fire in a high-rise building, patrol police officers Marʼyan Kobyletskyi, Serhii Yatsiuk and Roman Antoniuk were among the first to arrive at the scene and began evacuating residents.
The officers led people out of the smoke-filled stairwell, and helped those who could not get out on their own to reach fresh air. The fire was later contained by firefighters.
According to the patrol officers, one resident was taken to hospital and their life is not in danger. Members of the public, including children, thanked the police officers for their assistance.
