An incident occurred in Lviv on the evening of November 8 aboard tram No. 8 heading to Sykhiv. According to victim Vika Volovenko, a group of teenagers began behaving aggressively — swearing, vaping, and ignoring multiple warnings from passengers.
When a male passenger attempted to de-escalate the situation and began filming the group, four of the five teens turned on him, trying to knock the phone from his hands. Volovenko and her friend intervened in an attempt to protect the man.
As a result, one of the teenagers punched Vika several times in the face, hitting her in the eye. She eventually fell to the ground. The attackers fled the scene as the tram stopped and doors opened.
Vika filed a police report and documented her injuries. She also noted that some girls in the group defended the offenders.
