Police officers in Lviv region have identified and charged three more underage girls involved in an incident that occurred on December 7 at a gas station in Sheptytske. The altercation involved a group of teenagers and the passengers of a minibus — performers of a folk ensemble returning from a tour in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The identified individuals include a 15-year-old and two 17-year-old girls from Sheptytske. One of the 17-year-olds was directly involved in disturbing public order and has received two administrative charges:
- Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses — minor hooliganism, punishable by:
- a fine of 3–7 non-taxable minimum incomes;
- or 40–60 hours of community service;
- or 1–2 months of corrective labor with 20% wage deduction;
- or up to 15 days of administrative arrest;
- Article 178 — consumption of alcohol or public intoxication, punishable by:
- a warning;
- or a fine of 1–5 non-taxable minimum incomes.
Administrative reports were also filed against the legal guardians of the other two girls and a 17-year-old boy from Sheptytske under Article 184, for failure to fulfill parental duties, punishable by:
- a warning;
- or a fine of 50–100 non-taxable minimum incomes.
Additionally, two adults who bought and supplied alcohol to the minors were charged under Article 180 — inducing minors into intoxication, which carries a fine of 6–8 non-taxable minimum incomes.
All case materials have been forwarded to the court for further proceedings.
