In the village of Yaseniv in the Zolochiv District, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries. At about 02:40 in the early hours of 29th April, according to preliminary information from law enforcement, a collision took place between a Honda motorcycle, driven by a 24-year-old local resident, and a Mercedes-Benz car, driven by a 47-year-old resident of the Kyiv region.
As a result of this accident, the motorcycle’s driver and passenger sustained bodily injuries that required hospitalisation. A criminal proceeding has been opened in connection with the accident under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with a possible deprivation of the right to drive vehicles.
The Lviv Region Police are conducting an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.
