In the Lviv region, over the past day, rescuers extinguished 11 fires. According to the information provided, 10 outbreaks occurred in natural ecosystems, where the fire covered more than 3,100 square metres of territory.
The State Emergency Service notes that rescuers risk their health every day to stop the spread of fire, but most of these outbreaks could have been avoided if safety rules had been followed.
Specialists stress the need to strictly observe fire safety rules: do not burn dry grass or rubbish, do not leave campfires unextinguished and do not throw cigarette ends into the grass.
Rescuers urge people to protect nature, human lives and the work of those who stand between fire and danger.
