A tragic event occurred in the village of Kalynev in Sambirshchyna. On the morning of 15 March, firefighters received a report of a fire in a wooden residential house. By the time they arrived, the fire had already engulfed the building, as reported by LVIVDSNS.
During the extinguishing of the fire, the body of the deceased, a 54-year-old owner of the house, was discovered. Unfortunately, she could not be saved. The fire was localised at 08:56 and was completely extinguished by 09:26, saving two neighbouring residential buildings in the process.
The authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the causes and circumstances surrounding the fire. Firefighters urge citizens to exercise increased caution in domestic settings, as an untimely detected electrical fault or improper use of heaters can lead to tragedy.
