
The Association of the Carpathian Euroregion announced the start of small project applications under the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 program.
The call for applications will run until October 17, 2025. The cooperation priority aims to “Build mutual trust through supporting activities that promote people-to-people interaction”.
The total budget of the competition is 2 million euros, and each winning project can receive up to 90,000 euros in grant funds. “We believe that the leaders of our communities are keeping an eye on opportunities to attract funds from various international programs, but today we remind everyone, especially through an official letter to our regional municipal institutions, educational and healthcare establishments, about the start of applications for this priority. We are ready to support and collaborate on the implementation of each idea”, said Acting Head of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod.
Main project themes: culture, education, healthcare, safety. The grant amount ranges from 20,000 to 90,000 euros, with co-financing available up to 90% of eligible costs. Project duration is a maximum of 12 months. Partnership requirements include at least one partner from Poland and one from Ukraine.
Eligible applicants: local governments, their executive bodies, as well as non-governmental organizations with legal entity status. The support territory covers Poland (Voivodeships: Podlaskie, Mazovian, Lublin, Subcarpathian) and Ukraine (Regions: Lviv, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk).
