This is the third such space for children in the Lviv region, which was opened within the framework of the initiative of the charitable foundation.
Today, March 22, the opening of a modern interactive space took place in the Boryslav public library in Drohobych region.
The Boryslav public library is one of the main cultural institutions of the city, which directly serves readers who take books home, mass work is carried out, associations and clubs based on interests are created and operate for users, a library fund of a universal profile is formed, designed to meet the comprehensive requests of users .
In the library, an interactive children’s table and an interactive display, a magnetic flip chart were installed, more than a dozen board games and puzzles for children of different ages, sofas, a pear chair, a dry pool, shelves and various furniture, as well as a fire extinguisher and a generator were purchased.
“Thank you to the Boryslav community for not being afraid of innovative changes and allowing us to create a modern and interactive space for children, who are our future, in their library. I wish your community prosperity, development and, of course, that our children live in a peaceful Ukraine, which will win in the near future,” said the director of the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions, Iryna Havryliuk.
As a reminder, within the framework of the “SOS Children’s Towns of Ukraine” initiative, in cooperation with the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions, 8 interactive spaces have already been set up in the libraries of the Lviv region. The official opening took place already in the libraries of Yavorov, Stary Sambor and Boryslav. Interactive rooms will also soon be opened in Pustomyty, Drohobych, Zolochiv, Skhidnytsia and Novoyavorivsk.
