A large-scale fire has occurred on the territory of Verkhnio-Volovetske Forestry in Transcarpathia, engulfing approximately 75 hectares. Aviation from the State Emergency Service has been engaged to extinguish the flames.
A total of 352 people and 48 units of equipment are participating in the firefighting effort, including 96 rescuers and 22 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service. Assistance is also being provided by units from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, involving 59 firefighters and 14 units of equipment.
