LKP “Lvivspetskomuntrans” is actively modernising the container sites under the enterprise’s management. Recently, the site at 16 Barvinskykh Street was upgraded. It now features a closed site with three containers, each with a capacity of 1100 litres, as well as separate bins for organic waste, glass, and plastic.
The new site for separate waste collection is located by the roadside. On the paved area, there are several containers: a large yellow one for plastic and two smaller ones — green and brown. Behind them is an enclosed area with a metal frame.
Upgrading container sites is an important step towards improving the city’s sanitary conditions and residents’ comfort. In addition to the upgrades, the enterprise’s staff cleared the surrounding area of bulky waste to ensure convenient use of the containers and the tidiness of the residential area.
“Such works help maintain cleanliness, enhance the aesthetic appearance of the area, and facilitate comfortable use of the waste removal service,” note LKP “Lvivspetskomuntrans”.
Currently, LKP TF “Lvivspetskomuntrans” services 210 container sites in the Lviv community, covering approximately 150,000 residents, budgetary institutions, and commercial organisations.
