
In July, the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid transported 63 Ukrainians for treatment abroad.
The municipal non-commercial enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council, Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine, transported 63 people for treatment abroad as part of medical evacuations in July, 9 of whom were in serious condition. Additionally, 18 accompanying persons were transported. After completing treatment and rehabilitation, 40 Ukrainians returned home. Overall, 58 trips were made during the month.
‘The Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine is the only one in the country that conducts medevac to European clinics for civilians and military wounded. Medical evacuations abroad are carried out with co-financing from the European Commission in cooperation with the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’, the emergency service reported.
