The head of the Lviv regional military administration Maksym Kozytskyi expressed gratitude for the donated car.

“It is very nice that the whole world is joining in helping Ukrainians in this difficult time for our country. The cardinal spent 22 hours driving this ambulance to bring her here and save her children’s lives. I am very grateful to the Pope for remembering Ukraine and praying for our people, because it gives us strength for new victories not only on the military front, but also on the spiritual front, “said the head of the administration.

Papal Cardinal Konrad Krajewski pointed out the importance of such initiatives.

“This ambulance was handed over from the Pope to help those who need it most. It is fully equipped and ready to travel. Having covered more than 2,000 kilometers and almost a day on the road, I feel only a slight fatigue and great gratitude to the Ukrainian people, who came to the defense not only of their country but of the whole of Europe, ” said the cardinal-deacon.
