On Saturday, September 2, Lviv will say goodbye to serviceman Artem Kulinych, who died defending Ukraine from the Russian invaders. The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.
The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square. The soldier will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.
Biographical certificate of the defender
Artem Kulynych (19.02.1996-26.08.2023) was born in the village of Sloboda-Rashkiv (Republic of Moldova).
He was educated at a local secondary comprehensive school. Having lost his mother early, he immediately started working after completing his studies.
In 2013, he moved to Ukraine. Lived in Lviv, worked here in the construction industry. He devoted his free time to the study of history, was fascinated by archeology.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation stood up to protect the Motherland from the Russian invaders. Performed tasks in the eastern direction in the ranks of the 711th guard regiment of the 1st separate brigade named after Prince Lev of the State Special Transport Service.
Artem Kulynych is survived by his 4-year-old daughter, wife, father and brother.
