🕯️ Vitaliy Prokopchuk
A native of Lviv.
In 2025, he stood up for the defense of the Motherland from the invasion of Russian occupiers. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk direction as part of the 11th separate assault battalion. The defender passed away on September 2.
🕯️ Mykhailo Novosad
A native of Lviv.
He served in the military service.
He was a participant in the ATO. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia direction as part of the 46th separate airmobile Podolsk brigade.
Awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “For Wounds”, the breastplate “Participant in the ATO”, and commemorative awards from the command. The defender passed away on September 9, 2025.
🕯️ Andriy Peh
A native of Lviv. He served in the military service. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, he stood up for the defense of the Motherland. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk directions as part of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. Awarded the medal “War Veteran”. The defender passed away on August 23, 2025.
🕯️ Valeriy Malykh
A native of Lviv.
He served in the Ukrainian Air Force, where he received the rank of major.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the reserve corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as an officer of the civil-military cooperation group as part of the A3369 military unit, performed tasks in the operational groups of the Danube and Luhansk troops. During this period, he received the military rank of lieutenant colonel and a certificate of combat participant. He was awarded the distinction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the breastplate “Cross of Military Honor”. The defender passed away on September 7.
🕯️ Ruslan Zazulya
He was born in the village of Berezdivtsi and lived in the city of Novy Rozdil, Stryi district. Soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, he died on September 8 in one of the hospitals in Lviv.
