With sadness, the Sokal City Council reported today the terrible news from the war
Ihor Valentinovych, born in 1971, a resident of Sokal, died in battles with the occupier on October 29, 2023, near the village of Robotyn, Zaporizhzhia region.
He served with honor for the defense of Ukraine, was the commander of the 3rd mechanized platoon of the 8th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the A4447 military unit.
We offer our sincere condolences to his wife Ruslana, son Bohdan and parents for their irreparable loss.
