On January 14, Hero Nazariy Pistun will return to his native community “on the shield.” The mourning procession will begin at 12:00, following the route: starting from the city of Sosnivka, along the main Lvivska Street, through the Prosvita Square, and continuing on Halytska, Hrushevskoho, and 22nd of January Streets to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration.
A memorial service and funeral rite will take place immediately after the procession arrives. The Hero will be laid to rest at the Alley of Heroes in Sosnivka Cemetery.
The Sheptytska City Council calls on the community to honor Nazariy Pistun and see him off with dignity. This brave warrior gave his life for Ukraine’s freedom and for each of us.
