The event took place in Velykyi Lubin. There were 22 local children’s teams aged 7 to 11 years old. Amateur footballers from Horodok and Velykyi Lubin also took part.
The tournament itself was dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldier Oleh Mazur, who was born in the village of Pisky. He was also a keen football player and a graduate of the Karpaty Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 73. But in 2016, Oleh joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first, he served in the 80th separate air assault brigade, and later – in the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion. The defender died on 19 May 2022 in Izium district, Kharkiv region.
In total, the charity tournament raised UAH 62,500. All the funds will be transferred to the needs of our defenders.
