In the city of Odessa, Texas, the Odessa Police Department has appealed to residents for help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a mobile phone from a Walmart supermarket.
According to investigators, a store employee accidentally left their phone, worth around $1,200, in the self-service area. The device’s case also contained important personal documents belonging to the owner.
Security cameras captured an unidentified woman who, according to the police version of events, took the phone that had been left behind. Officers are asking anyone who recognises this person to come forward with information.
The police are asking potential witnesses, or anyone who may know the suspect, to contact Detective G. Potter or the Odessa Crime Stoppers line on 432-333-TIPS, quoting the case number specified in the police appeal.
