Women Entrepreneurs from Lviv Region Can Receive Up to UAH 150,000 to Develop Agro-Processing Businesses via FemAgro 2.0

Applications are open until February 28, 2026, for “FemAgro 2.0. Manufactory”, a support program for women entrepreneurs in the agro-processing sector, organized by the “Women’s Opportunities in Ukraine” Charity Foundation.

This initiative aims to assist women-led microbusinesses in transitioning from home-based operations to professional levels, focusing on the processing of plant products and enhancing women’s economic roles in rural areas, especially in Lviv Region.

🔹 Program opportunities:

  • Grants of up to UAH 150,000 for business development;
  • Funds can be allocated for:
    • production upgrades;
    • marketing strategies;
    • implementation of HACCP safety standards;
  • Online training with industry experts;
  • Mentorship support;
  • Business idea pitching opportunities.

🔹 Eligibility criteria:

  • Ukrainian women residing in government-controlled areas;
  • Must have a registered business (sole proprietorship, farm enterprise, or LLC);
  • Must be engaged or planning to engage in plant-based product processing;
  • Must commit to creating at least one new job within 6 months of receiving the grant.

According to Liudmyla Honcharenko, Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Lviv Regional State Administration, agro-processing is a key area for boosting the rural economy, and “FemAgro 2.0” offers a real chance for women to elevate their businesses.
