Yaroslav Hulovatyy Triumphs at the Ukrainian National Skiing Championships
The Ukrainian National Skiing Championships for athletes with hearing impairments took place from February 15 to 18 at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center of NCSIU. More than 30 participants from 8 regions competed for the championship.
Yaroslav Hulovatyy’s Achievements
- 🥇 became the champion in the sprint classic style discipline;
- 🥉 took 3rd place in the 10 km classic style distance.
“One of Yaroslav Hulovatyy’s greatest achievements on the international stage is the gold in skiing at the Deaflympics, which took place last year in Erzurum, Turkey. This is the first such award in the history of the Lviv region,” recalls Roman Khimiak, head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
Yaroslav Hulovatyy’s personal ski coach is Volodymyr Lyubizhanin, and he represents the Lviv Regional Center “Invasport.”
