In Ukraine, the Day of Physical Culture and Sports is celebrated on the second Saturday of September. This year it falls on September 9. It is a celebration of a healthy lifestyle and the joy that comes from playing sports.
A number of bright sports events are planned in Chervonohrad to celebrate this holiday:
On September 8, at 19:00, the Sports Palace will host a master class in basketball and 3×3 basketball;
On September 8 at 17:00 at the Shakhtar stadium, a youth football match will be held between the Chervonograd and Sosnivka teams;
September 9 at 10:00 a.m. in the city Park of Culture and Recreation – a match meeting of veterans and youth football players of Sosnivka-Chervonograd;
On September 11, a beach volleyball tournament among youth teams of 2008 and younger will be held at the volleyball court on the bank of the Western Bug.
