
Locations for the Unified Memory Route have been identified in the Lviv region.
A meeting was held at the Lviv Regional State Administration with representatives of locations that will be included in the Unified Memory Route. This project is implemented under the \”Heroes’ Policy\” of the President of Ukraine’s Plan for Internal Resilience. The initiative was created by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine together with the State Tourism Development Agency and regional military administrations.
\”The participation of the Lviv region in the project is important for creating a national network of places of memory, aimed at preserving the truth about the Ukrainian-Russian war, honoring heroes, shaping the identity of future generations, and promoting tourism development,\” said Roman Khimiak, Director of the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, Mariyana Kuksa, Acting Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Lviv Regional State Administration, presented the list of locations from the Lviv region. These include: Field of Honorable Burials No. 86a at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, residential complexes on Melnyka, Konovaltsia, Kokorudza streets, a complex on Stryiska Street, Roman Shukhevych Museum in Bilohorshcha, and the tourist route \”By the Paths of Stepan Bandera.\”
Special attention was paid to the presentation of the visual identity of the Unified Route. The project’s motto consists of three key words: \”Look\”, \”Remember\”, \”Tell\”. Participants agreed to prepare proposals for location design and the creation of a web portal.
