In Lviv, a three-month-old boy who was left at the “Window of Life” now has a family. The baby was adopted by a couple who have been spending time with him since the first meeting
The baby, who was left in the “Window of Life” of one of the city’s hospitals on the eve of Easter, will be adopted. Such a decision was made by the court at the beginning of August, but it will come into effect from September. When the boy was found, he was three months old.
This was reported in the city office “Service for Children”.
The couple who are candidates for adoption made it clear at first glance that they wanted to take care of the child and declared their readiness to accept him into their family. Although in general, potential parents are given 10 days to make a decision on adoption. From then until now, adoptive parents constantly visit the Children’s Home, spend time with the baby and get used to each other.
When the court’s decision comes into effect, which is a month after its adoption, the couple will be able to take their son to a new home.
“We are happy every time a child finds a loving family. This couple was in the waiting list for adoption, and they waited for their happiness – soon husband and wife will be reunited with their child. We wish them family comfort, love and joy,” the Children’s Service office shares.
We will remind that a three-month-old boy was left on April 23 this year at the “Window of Life” on the territory of the city’s children’s clinical hospital (St. Nicholas Hospital). Doctors paid attention to the fact that the child was well cared for. They immediately called the police and the “Children’s Service” city office. Until June, the boy was in a children’s hospital, and then he was transferred to the Children’s Home.
