
A fire occurred in Lviv, resulting in a woman sustaining burns.
On July 3 at 21:37, the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report of a fire on Shevchenka Street in Lviv. The fire engulfed a wooden outbuilding covered with metal sheets. By the time the rescuers arrived, the building was completely engulfed in flames, posing a threat of spreading to nearby structures.
At 21:49, the firefighters localized the fire, and at 21:50, they extinguished it, saving two nearby residential buildings from the flames. As a result of the fire, the owner of the building, a woman born in 1968, suffered second-degree burns and was hospitalized at St. Luke’s Hospital after being examined by medics.
Eleven rescuers and three units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
