Empowering Travel Opportunities for Men Under 23

As of today, Ukrainian men under the age of 23 can travel abroad without restrictions.

On August 28, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine began allowing men under 23 to cross the state border. This became possible due to amendments to the Border Crossing Rules approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1030 dated August 26, 2025. **Restrictions do not apply** to men aged 18 to 22 in the event of martial law.

However, this policy does not apply to individuals holding designated positions in state authorities and local government bodies. For them, travel is only possible on official business.

It is emphasized that crossing the border requires having a passport document and a military registration document, which can be in electronic form, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
