“Cultural institutions in Lviv play an important role in shaping and preserving Ukrainian identity. Our goal is to ensure that these institutions continue to be centres of Ukrainian language and culture. We are pleased to see that the institutions we visited not only gladly support such initiatives, but also pay special attention to the repertoire and cultural product offered to the audience. In the future, we plan to expand the geography of explanatory visits to cultural institutions in the Lviv region,” said Yuriy Horun, Director of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
We remind you that since 2018, a moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products has been in place in the Lviv region, and since 2021, explanatory work has been ongoing among organisations and enterprises in the Lviv region in various industries.
