Under the procedural supervision of prosecutors of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv, an indictment against a 43-year-old Lviv resident was sent to court. She is charged with illegal acquisition, storage with intent to sell and illegal sale of especially dangerous psychotropic substances and narcotic drugs, as well as providing premises for illegal use of psychotropic substances and narcotic drugs (Part 2 of Art. 307, Part 1 of Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that the accused illegally purchased PVP. Subsequently, she sold the psychotropic substance at her place of residence directly “from hand to hand” and received money for it.
In addition, the woman repeatedly provided the premises of her room for the illegal use of prohibited substances to drug addicts.
During the searches, law enforcement officers found and seized morphine, PVP, cannabis, and buprenorphine.
The accused is currently in custody.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
