On 31 October, the funeral service for Hero Yuriy Kanyuk began at the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Lviv.
Later, the Hero was met by the community in Mezhyrich in the Church of St Basil the Great.
Yurii Kaniuk was buried in the cemetery in Mezhyrichchia.
