According to the public indictment of the prosecutors of the Stryi district prosecutor’s office, the local resident was found guilty of illegal sale of narcotic drugs, as well as illegal planting and cultivation of hemp (part 2 of article 307, part 2 of article З10 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Prosecutors proved in court that in one of the villages of the Stryi district, a man was engaged in the sale of a particularly dangerous drug – cannabis.
In addition, the convict grew hemp in the yard near his house. During the searches, more than a hundred stalks of the banned plant were seized.
