The victim was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. The detainee, a 23-year-old local resident, faces up to fifteen years in prison with confiscation of property.
On May 10, at about 12:30 p.m., the police received a report that a passer-by had been robbed on Vasyl Stus Street in Chervonohrad.
An investigative task force and other members of the Chervonohrad District Police Department immediately went to the scene. According to the police, a 23-year-old local resident was involved in a robbery attack on a 27-year-old resident of one of the villages of Chervonohrad district. During the sudden conflict, the attacker stabbed the victim in the forearm, seized his mobile phone, purse and other property, as well as the bicycle on which he fled the scene.
