The traffic accident happened today, January 20, around 1:10 p.m., on Stryyska Street in Lviv.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Honda car driven by a 25-year-old Lviv resident and a Skoda driven by a 39-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of both vehicles, the Honda passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Lviv, and the Skoda passengers, a 14-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man – both from Lviv – received bodily injuries and were taken to a medical facility.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 2 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
