In the town of Sheptytskyi in Sheptytskyi district, a fire broke out in two outbuildings on Molodizhna Street. The Rescue Service “101” received the call at 13:52 on 28 July.
Firefighters from the 33rd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Sheptytskyi responded to the call. By the time they arrived, one of the buildings was completely engulfed in flames, and the fire had spread to an adjacent structure where household items were burning over an area of 20 sq. m.
The fire was contained at 14:09 and fully extinguished at 14:33. As a result of the blaze, an outbuilding and part of the belongings in the neighbouring structure were destroyed; however, firefighters managed to prevent the destruction of both buildings.
The operation involved 10 firefighters and 2 units of specialist equipment. According to experts, no one was injured in the fire, and the circumstances and causes of the blaze are being established.
