Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office, a 51-year-old man was notified of suspicion of premeditated murder (Part 1, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on January 14 of this year in one of the villages of the Sambir region, the suspect and his friend were drinking alcoholic beverages when a conflict arose between them. During which the suspect strangled a 26-year-old man with an electric cable.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
At the request of the prosecutors, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detainee.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the Sambirsk RVP of the State Government of the NP in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
