In the city of Lviv, new financial vouchers have been allocated for businesses affected by the war or those who have relocated. The support programme, implemented through efforts of the local council, continues to operate, helping businesses adapt and integrate into the city community, as reported by the Lviv City Council.
Inna Svystun, Director of the Economic Development Department, emphasised that Lviv is ready to support entrepreneurs by allocating vouchers up to 300 thousand UAH to cover costs of rent, repairs, or purchasing equipment. Primarily, the assistance is given to companies whose assets have been damaged by shelling; notably, OKB ‘TECON-ELECTRON’ and the ‘Aurora Multimarket’ chain received large sums for restoration.
Additionally, the city provides support to businesses that have relocated to Lviv. The ‘Dzendzyk’ café, opened by refugees from Berdyansk, received 152 thousand UAH for rent and equipment, enabling them to continue developing in the city.
The Lviv City Council emphasises its ongoing support for entrepreneurs who contribute to the community’s economic growth and create new jobs, despite the challenges of war.
