In Lviv region, two men were hospitalized as a result of snake bites. One of them is in serious condition, he is 52 years old.
The second victim is 40.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.
To minimize contact with reptiles, follow simple safety rules:
Wear clothes that will protect you from bites (high boots and pants made of thick fabric that should be tucked inside your shoes);
Check your vacation spot. Before sitting on the grass, stone or log, make sure there are no snakes;
Do not touch objects under which reptiles often hide (stones, fallen tree trunks, rotten stumps, haystacks);
Do not move if you see a snake! Wait for it to crawl away without sudden movements.
