In Lviv, the first school in Ukraine built using 3D printing technology has been opened.
**Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi** during the 2025 report noted: “No one believed this would happen, but we did it”. In the new building of School No. 23, about 100 first-graders are already studying. This innovative project became possible thanks to the city’s investments in connecting electricity and purchasing necessary equipment.
On the compact area, four classrooms, a teacher’s room, and restrooms have been accommodated. The area is equipped to meet the needs of children – a terrace, ramp, and playground.
The director of the Department of Education of the Lviv City Council, Andriy Zakalyuk, explained that only first grades will be taught here each year. The school is located in a densely populated area and is overcrowded – more than a thousand students compared to the calculated 700.
The opening became an example of an innovative approach to the city’s educational infrastructure. The mayor also reported on the support for the Armed Forces and the development of Lviv during the war. The event was broadcasted on the official YouTube channel and social media.
