
Eight graduates of educational institutions in the Truskavets community achieved the maximum score of 200 points in individual subjects in the national multi-subject test. This was reported by the Education Department of the Truskavets City Council.
According to the government, this year 324,284 Ukrainians took part in the NMT, 95% of whom sat the test in Ukraine, with the rest doing so abroad. A total of 275,934 candidates, or 85.1% of those who took the exam, passed the threshold in four subjects of the main session. A maximum result in one subject was achieved by 3,671 candidates, in two subjects by 259, in three subjects by 28, and a full 200 points in all four subjects was scored by 2 candidates.
This list also includes eight graduates from the Truskavets community. They study at three institutions: NVK «SZZS No. 2-Gymnasium» in Truskavets (4 graduates), Truskavets SZZS No. 1 (3 graduates) and Dobrohostiv ZZSO I-III degrees named after Ivan Boberskyi (1 graduate).
Seven pupils scored 200 points in English, and one more pupil achieved the same result in Ukrainian. Thus, English became the subject in which the community recorded the highest number of maximum scores.
Among the distinguished graduates are pupils of Truskavets SZZS No. 1, Olha Humetska and Kateryna Danylyshyn, who each scored 200 points in English. Both girls studied in Truskavets, were actively involved in school life and have a wide range of interests – from learning foreign languages and reciting poetry to organising class events and travelling.
Pupil of NVK «SZZS No. 2-Gymnasium» Danylo Oleksandr Liubomyrovych also scored 200 points in the NMT in English. At school he is described as goal-oriented and responsible. He prepared for the test, in particular, with his teacher Olha Machyta, while English at the institution was taught to him by Larysa Vsevolodivna Mykhalchyshyn, and his form tutor was Mykhailo Yuriiovych Voloshyn.
The maximum result in Ukrainian was achieved by NVK «SZZS No. 2-Gymnasium» pupil Yeva Kilas. She has been studying at this institution since Year 5, is an active member of the school parliament and reads extensively. She prepared for the NMT on courses and with private tutors, while at school she studied Ukrainian with teacher Olesia Dmytrivna Riazanova. Her form tutor is Mykhailo Yuriiovych Voloshyn. Yeva plans to apply to one of the universities in the capital.
Another excellent result in English was demonstrated by Truskavets SZZS No. 1 pupil Kyrylo Kozhemiakin. He is originally from Stebnyk, has achievements in computer science Olympiads, is interested in programming and dreams of working in IT, in particular becoming a senior full-stack developer.
Graduate of Dobrohostiv ZZSO I-III degrees named after Ivan Boberskyi, Ivan Moshovskyi, also scored 200 points in the NMT in English. He is actively involved in school events and studies at high and sufficient levels. Among the possible areas of further study, Ivan is considering computer engineering at universities in Lviv.
NVK «SZZS No. 2-Gymnasium» pupil Anatolii Pylypenko has been living in Truskavets since the age of five, and was born in Donetsk. He is interested in world history, reads both fiction and non-fiction, and enjoys travelling to historical sites. He prepared for the NMT in English on specialised courses, while mastering other subjects independently. He plans to apply to Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University or Donetsk National Technical University.
The list of high achievers is completed by NVK «SZZS No. 2-Gymnasium» pupil Anna Sinkeviсh, who also scored 200 points in English. She is keen on playing the guitar and freestyle wrestling, and is known in the school community as a diligent and persistent pupil. Anna prepared for the test with private tutor Olha Makhanko, and she was supported in her preparation by her grandmother, a former mathematics teacher.
The Education Department of the Truskavets City Council emphasises that eight graduates with maximum results is a relatively small number, but the community is proud of everyone who has managed to reach this peak. The graduates are wished success in admission, a good professional choice and support along their future life path.
