“I am very satisfied with this meeting. We discussed many projects that are already working in Ukraine, in Lviv now. They concern cooperation between medical institutions in the fields of primary medical care, rehabilitation, etc.
Much attention was also focused on future opportunities for cooperation, in particular for business. Also of interest is the development of educational centers of medical innovation companies that deal with rehabilitation issues, so that they can share their knowledge not only during the war, but also after it ends. I know that now everyone is very focused on the war and the approaching victory, but I am very glad that the mayor’s office is actually thinking about what will happen after the war and how to build the country in the future,” said Marek Svoboda, director of the economic department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Marek Svoboda also said that the Czech Republic plans to hold a large international conference of startups, to which they want to invite Ukrainian companies. This is a good opportunity to exchange experience and establish contacts, cooperation between startups.
One of the topics of conversation between the officials was sports rehabilitation. Andriy Moskalenko talked about Lviv’s plans to build an ice arena for sledge hockey, because this sport is very useful for the recovery of the wounded. In turn, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic said that hockey is very developed in his country (the hockey association is one of the largest in the Czech Republic), so he promised to find options where Czech specialists would be useful for Lviv.
