It started on July 10 and included more than a hundred participants and a dozen qualified speakers.
This year, 100 participants registered for the summer school, including valeology teachers, practical psychologists, and university graduates. After completing all training, volunteers will be able to participate in lectures in schools.
Meetings have already taken place with Halyna Bordun, the project manager, where they discussed personal brand, team formation and how to speak in front of a school audience and Orest Chemerys, acting rector of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, who spoke about medical reform and the health care system. Our participants also listened to lectures by Orest Suval – about the importance of mental health support, Nataliya Ivanchenko-Timko – about safe healthy nutrition, Maria Velikay – about branding and own recognition. The deputy head of the information policy department of the Lviv OVA Maria Kurylo spoke about how to run social networks “in human language” and what you should know about the algorithms of different platforms. We will remind you that earlier she organized the course “Human language” for the heads of departments, departments and divisions of the Lviv OVA. More details here.
Volunteers are still waiting for lectures from:
cardiologist Dmytro Besh, during which they will be able to deepen their knowledge in the field of prevention of cardiovascular diseases;

“The prevention of diseases of the block “Mental health” has been actively developing in Lviv region for more than 1 year, and this topic is extremely important. We’re keeping pace with the First Lady’s How Are You Mental Health Strategy? and mental health coordination centers. We are pleased that this volunteer initiative, which was started by Maksym Kozytskyi, is now being scaled up and reflects qualitative and quantitative indicators. Student-volunteers transfer their acquired experience to teachers, who in the future will share it with their wards,” said Halyna Bordun, adviser to the head of Lviv OVA.
In addition, during the implementation of the project, more than 300 lectures were held in educational institutions of the Lviv Region and more than 11,000 children were reached.
