More than 230,000 calls have been processed by the 112 line since it became a universal round-the-clock service for those in Lviv Oblast who need help.
This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Emergency Service Maxim Kozitsky.
Since December 1, 50 operators have been involved in the emergency service. They said that people most often call when they need medical help, after an accident, in case of various emergencies, and to call the gas service.
“This week, together with Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalencz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland, we had the honor to personally verify their professionalism and stress resistance by observing the work of these specialists during a tour of the Center for Rapid Response to Crimes and Events in Lviv, where the service operates,” said the head of Lviv region.
It took 6 million euros to implement this project. Of this amount, 5.4 million were grants from the European Union. 27.5 million came from the regional budget. And more than 20 million from the budget of the National Police of Ukraine. These funds were used to renovate six police departments, purchase machinery, office equipment, cars and surveillance cameras.

The Center for Rapid Response to Crimes and Incidents in Lviv also employs 102 operators, investigators, cyber police and criminal analysis specialists.
