According to the Galician District Administration, repairs will begin on Monday, 16 September, on Cyril and Methodius Street.
The work will last approximately one month. During this time, the street will be closed to traffic. It should be noted that there are no city routes on Cyril and Methodius Street, so these changes will not cause any inconvenience to passengers.
Thus, the road surface will be repaired along the entire street. The sidewalk will also be repaired on the odd-numbered side, where kindergarten No. 43 and Lviv Linguistic Gymnasium are located.
“The road is in a very poor condition – both the part that is paved with cobblestones and the part with asphalt pavement. Therefore, the top layer of the asphalt pavement will be replaced and the pavement will be repaved. We will also repair one sidewalk, which is also badly damaged,” the Galician RA noted.
Residents are asked to apologise for any inconvenience.
As a reminder, you can view all road closures in Lviv on an online map. The map shows the traffic management scheme for the duration of the repair works and indicates the duration of the closures.
