Number of storeys reduced and nursery planned for residential complex on Pasichna in Lviv

In Lviv, at 133 Pasichna Street, the design of a new residential complex has been revised: the buildings will have fewer storeys, and a nursery will be built within the development. The city’s chief architect, Anton Kolomeitsev, announced this at a meeting of the executive committee of Lviv City Council.

According to him, the investor initially submitted for consideration a design with taller buildings. After further work, it was possible to reduce the height of most sections, and the planned high-rise accent was redesigned in a terraced, cascading form.

Kolomeitsev noted that a pre-school education facility is envisaged in a separate building within the residential complex. Initially, the developer had not planned such a facility, but the city insisted on including a nursery as an important element of the infrastructure.

Following the revision, the public spaces were also refined and improved in more detail: the locations of the main square, pedestrian street, children’s playgrounds, green recreational areas and pedestrian alleys were defined. The chief architect stressed that there is already a park nearby on Pasichna Street, a site for a school and other facilities, and other residential projects are being implemented there, so the quality of the new development must be high to ensure that residents of the new neighbourhood have access to the necessary services.

In total, the complex is planned to include 240 flats, around 200 spaces in an underground car park, integrated commercial premises and a transformer substation.
