In Sambir Region, almost 2 hectares of land were confiscated from a citizen of the Russian Federation.
The Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office ensured the execution of a court decision to confiscate seven plots of land that belonged to a Russian citizen, in favor of the state. These agricultural lands, with a total area of almost 2 hectares, are located in the territory of one of the communities of the Sambir district.
According to the materials of the SBU Office in Lviv region, it was established that the Russian citizen inherited the aforementioned plots of land. According to current legislation, she was supposed to alienate the specified plots within a year from the moment of inheritance, but she did not do so.
In response to the violation, the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit, which was granted. Currently, the court’s decision has been executed, and the plots have been returned to state ownership.
