Сокаль. Старшини 5-ої Сокальськоі бригади УГА .Світлина 1919рік. «Сокальська (5) бригада — створена у лютому 1919, належала до 1 корпусу Української Галицької Армії, стояла на протипольському фронті на північному заході від Крилова на Холмщині до Кристинополя. Командантами бригади були за чергою: сотник Демчук Осип, полковник Захаріїн, сотник П. Петрик, сотник Володимир Секунда і сотник Володимир Коссар. Сокальська бригада мала три курені піхоти, гарматний полк. (командир сотник А. Циганик), кінну сотню, саперну сотню та тилові й допомогові формації»
