Today Lviv region says goodbye to five defenders
Vasyl Tsybukh
A resident of Zolochiv. He served in the military unit A4941. He was the chief sergeant of the third mechanised battalion. The serviceman died on 1 September from hypertension while serving in the Pokrovsk sector. He was 50 years old.
Oleg Lutchin
He lived in the village Verkhniy Luzhok, Strilkivska community. He served in the military unit A0998. He held the position of a grenade launcher of the second motorised infantry unit. He died on 3 September near the village of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. The warrior is forever 44.
Viktor Pavliuk
A native of the city of Sokal. During the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine as part of the 95th separate air assault brigade. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk and Kursk directions. The defender died on 24 September at the age of 51.
Yuriy Bereziuk
A resident of Lviv. He served in the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. After the outbreak of full-scale war, he voluntarily joined the Western Territorial Directorate of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldier died on 3 September. He was 32 years old.
Stepan Leskiv
He lived in the village of Zarichchia, Mostyska community. During the full-scale war, he served in the military unit A4943 as a sapper of the engineering and demining department. He died on 2 September near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. The defender is forever 39.
