On Monday, Lviv will say goodbye to Heroes Pavlo Kyrychenko and Nazar Tymkiv

Tomorrow, July 25, Lviv will say goodbye to Heroes Pavel Kyrychenko and Nazar Tymkiv, who defended Ukraine from the Russian invaders at the cost of their lives.

The funeral will be held in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, military servicemen will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery. The City Hall urges you to join the farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertaining events and celebrations during this time.

The funeral rites of Pavel Kirichenko and Nazar Tymkiv will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church, and at 11:30 a.m. a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square. After that, the funeral procession will go to the Lychakiv cemetery. Blue and yellow flags with a mourning ribbon will be hung on the buildings along the route of the convoy.

Biographical reference of Heroes

Pavlo Kyrychenko (June 22, 1995 – July 22, 2022) from Lviv. He studied at the specialized children’s and youth school of the Olympic football reserve “Karpaty”. He graduated from the Lviv Higher Vocational Polytechnic School with a specialty of “locksmith”.

During 2014-2015, he completed his military service at the Main Personnel Training Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Major General Ihor Momot.

From 2017 to 2020, he participated in an anti-terrorist operation as part of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo of the operational command “West” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Junior sergeant.

From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Pavlo Kyrychenko is survived by his grandfather, grandmother, parents, two sisters and a brother.

 

Nazar Tymkiv

Nazar Tymkiv (October 7, 1995 – July 15, 2022) from Lviv. Graduated from Lviv Secondary School No. 77 with an in-depth study of economics and management. He received his higher education at the Lviv Cooperative Vocational College of Economics and Law.
From 2015 to 2017, he served in the ranks of the 234th radio engineering battalion of the 14th radio engineering brigade named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the “South” air command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 2017 to 2022, he worked at the limited liability company “Shuvar” and at the private enterprise “Security firm “Hetman”. Senior soldier.

With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine as part of the 122nd separate airmobile battalion of the 81st separate airmobile brigade of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nazar Tymkiv is survived by his wife, daughter, parents and brother.
