Maksym Kozytskyi called on the residents of Lviv region to enlist in the ranks of territorial defense.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration at today’s press conference.
“I am very glad that in Lviv and Lviv district the flow of volunteers who want to join the ranks of territorial defense is significant, so it is from the central district residents of the region should follow suit and actively participate in law enforcement in the region. I urge everyone to join the territorial defense of Lviv region, “he said.
The Commander of the Territorial Defense of the Lviv Region Valery Kurko added that since the beginning of the martial law, the regime of the territorial defense of the Lviv Region has ranged from 60 to 90%, depending on the point of recruitment.
“The most common reasons for refusing to join the ranks of terrorist defense are: lack of positions or positions that require special training and refusal of conscripts,” said the commander of the defense of Lviv region.
He also noted that since the imposition of martial law, all units of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been deployed. All servicemen are provided with personal weapons, uniforms and hot three meals a day.
