Agro-producers of Lviv region will receive financial support from the regional budget – nearly 935 thousand UAH.
The funding is provided as part of the Comprehensive Program for the Support and Development of Agriculture in the region for 2021–2025. This year, agro-producers will receive support in two areas. Compensation for interest on financial leasing agreements will be given to three agricultural enterprises that have purchased 7 units of machinery and equipment for a total amount of 48.2 million UAH. Support for veteran businesses includes financing for three veterans who, after service, are developing their own farms, including greenhouse cultivation of greens and two dairy farms.
According to Yuriy Buchko, Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration, the program demonstrates real results: updating equipment, developing family farms, and supporting entrepreneurs who have returned from the front and are working in the local communities of the region. We support those who ensure food security in the region and create jobs.
